Contracted Operations (CO) recognizes that procurement is a key element of our sustainable supply chain. Ensuring our ability to provide a reliable package and deliver products that meet our customers’ needs.
- When evaluating products and suppliers CO will consider environmental factors such as recycling and carbon footprint.
- CO procurement personnel will only do business with suppliers who demonstrate a commitment to ethical labor practices, human rights, and diversity within their operations.
- CO will strive to the use of locally sourced and sustainable materials where feasible.
- CO will work with suppliers to reduce packaging waste and promote responsible disposal and recycling practices.
- Our company will regularly review and update our procurement processes to reflect best practices in sustainability.
- Contracted Operations will not be associated with any companies that could be mentioned on any major sanctions list or involved in any case of corruption. Associating with these companies can result in reputational risk and lead to financial consequences ranging from legal disputes, fines, or potential imprisonment for noncompliance with the law.
To support our policy, we have created a supplier code of conduct that states the following:
By agreeing to conduct business with Contracted Operations you agree to apply our key social guidelines in areas such as the environment, you also agree to continuously strive towards the reduction of pollutants to help the environment, to continuously improve employee working conditions, and to abide by the protection of human rights.
This Supplier Code of Conduct encourages your company to follow and to the best of your knowledge comply with all principles stated in this document, in the process of conducting business with our company at all your facilities.
Our goal is to have at least 50% of all our suppliers signed our code of conduct for 2027.
